It took her about 3wks to be potty trained, we set up a doggy door and she uses it all the time without being told to, even at night!? My wife taught Mocha to sit on command, that took all of 15 minutes, she also stays on command, that took alittle longer, 1day! Mocha is sooooo smart, and a great personality too ! Shes very, very loving with our boys. we recently went on vacation to almanor and took her along, it was her first time swimming and in our boat, she loved it! shes also a great retriever! What more can we say, except thanks!!! |

I hope your trip back east went well....I just wanted to send you an email to let you know that Dallas (Rosie's 2002 #3) is doing great! He is only 2 months and 3 weeks old and is officially a member of our family. He follows us from room to room and just sits and watches us. If he needs to use the bathroom he runs outside. We are so proud! We never expected to have a house dog but he is so good we can't resist to let him hang out with us in the house. He is a natural retriever. The first time we played catch he brought the ball back to us and ready for us to throw it again. Everyone who comes over is shocked about how well mannered and mellow he is. He has beautiful color and the most sweetest eyes. He is growing everyday...last time I took him to the vet he was already 17 pounds and I am sure he is more now. Thanks again for an awesome puppy. We will keep you posted! Kristen and Mark Morris =) |

She is a beautiful, well-behaved, very much loved dog. Everyday she goes to the fields about 500 meters from our house where she chases sparrows to her heart's content (this time of year we also get migratory birds like flamingos and such but she only sees the sparrows. She isn't really interested in other dogs either, just chasing birds and getting attention from humans. Thank you thank you for providing us with such a well bred dog. I can't tell you how much we love her (our rabbits do NOT however, and we have to keep her far from them--just saying "bunnies" gets her levitating in the air with excitement.) Thanks and Happy New Year! Jenny Spalding |

I am so glad to hear that you made it home in time for Christmas, safely. Although, it was a tough drive, you must have loved dropping off all those puppies to their new homes..... Well, I would really LOVE to have Ashley's male ALTHOUGH, with Christmas this close...money is tight....we will have to see what is avail in mid-January. Rosie's puppy, Belle, at 10 weeks is so intelligent! She knows basic commands like, NO, :) sit, stay, come and etc....most of all she knows how to love and be loved by these kids.... thank you again for such a wonderful addition to our family. We can not wait to receive another puppy for Belle to play with. You know, since we are in the area so much, maybe one day we will bring Belle by to show you how beautiful she is becoming? Again, I am glad you made it home safe AND in time for the Holidays. If you could let me know where the pups are. I believe you said that Chester is there, how about the other little boys? Are they there or in Minn? We would like to check them out after the holidays. You and your family have a wonderful Christmas & May all of your secret wishes be fulfilled, and may the enchan tment of Christmas be yours! Hey David! We can't remember life without Lola...or Babe's #6 puppy as you know her. She's so sweet and so smart. We still can't get over how smart she is. We've taken hundreds of pictures of her already and hundreds, probably thousands are to follow. She's a beauty. If you recall, we took a picture of you bringing her up the walk and into the door. When the kids awoke the next morning, we told them Santa stopped by and left a letter. They believe you're Santa and the pedigree papers you were holding was actually a letter of explanation of why you had to deliver her early. We'll keep in touch but wanted to thank you for all your hard work and great communication along the way. From: Maryann May <mmay@valin.com> To: david@stargatekennels.com Subject: puppy update Mime-Version: 1.0 Hello David, Thought I would drop you a line and let you know how our new pup is doing. She was so good the long drive home, hardly any crying and no potty accidents. She is growing fast, 17 lbs at her last check up 3 wks ago. We have to watch her every minute 'cause she is such a busy girl. She is pretty much house trained, as long as we leave the back door open so she can get out. She and Adam get along famously, though she does spend a fair amount of time getting chased. We aren't having any problems, except the normal nipping(though that is getting better), chewing, and waking up at night lately and crying. I think we will increase her evening exercise and that should help that. We can't wait to take her to doggy school, but are waiting to get the vets ok. He says we still should keep her kinda isolated till her shots are all done. We got her picture taken with Adam a few weeks ago, I will send you a copy it is soooo cute. Thanks for all your help. She is 65 lb., and strong as heck. Extremely smart dog, and very protective. She is so much a water dog I don't think we could take her to the beach she would swim across the ocean. We have a doughboy so its 4 feet off the ground thank goodness. We took her to my moms at 7 month old and she treaded water for 4 hours. Found out the hard way that is real bad for their nails. Once she hit the cement they just flaked off and bleed. She survived and now she just stands up on the side of our pool and barks when she wants in, which is all the time. I am hoping she will slim down some in the next year, she looks to have a lot of skin to grow into. and she is very round even with all the swimming and walks. We were able to leave her alone in the house at 6 months, not locked in her box and she hasn't bothered a thing. She is a wonderful pet and a lover, I thank you so much for such smart fun dogs.
