Hi David....

Happy Holidays from Sydney (puppy number 4 from Buddy x Truffles litter)

She's doing great! 35 lbs and growing.....just finished puppy school and knows her commands quite well. We love her to pieces! (and she's quite spoiled I might add ;-) )

Subject: Hershey
Sensitivity: Normal

Hi David,

It has been two and a half years since you dropped Hershey off with us. It was late at night when we first met you and Hershey, we were jet lagged having just come back from China but excited none the less. We spent the night up with our new puppy, as he was alone for the first time and in a new environment. He was so little and cute, we fell in love with him immediately.

You mentioned that he would let us know when he wasn't happy and that he was active, we weren't sure what you meant, but we found out rather quickly. Hershey remains very vocal to this day. Active is a nice way to put his level of physical involvement. We almost renamed him to "Taz". He is a live wire, into everything, and curious about anything new.

Over time and a lot of time spent in training, he slowly became a more disciplined dog. He has turned into a real lover and has become part of our family. But don't worry, he has retained much of his original character and suspect he always will.

We are enclosing a picture of Hershey at the beach. He loves going swimming in the ocean here in San Diego. He makes friends easily with other dogs and people too for that matter.

We can't thank you enough for Hershey. He is truly a great friend and companion.

Subject: Playmate for Bailey
Date: Sun, 25 Nov 2007 22:29:51 -0500

Hi Dave,

I am looking to get a playmate for Bailey, one of Krystal's 1/12/2007 pups. Bailey is doing great and I have attached a recent photo below. I think I would like a female this time but I have not quite made up my mind. I saw on the web page that you currently have two litters but I know they go fast. Do you still have any open deposits?

Thanks,

To: david@stargatekennels.com

Hi David,
I hope things are going well at Stargate. I received Bucky's birth record but I didn't get his AKC paperwork. Can you send that to me?
Bucky is doing well and growing big. I will include a picture in this email. He and I are going to group puppy classes on Saturday mornings and then he has a private session with myself land the trainer at home here once a week.
He is a very lovable little guy.
Thank you.

David,

Thanks so much for the update. IF I was down on my land in Georgia..I would get another one...you have NO idea how much we love Jackson..he is just a sweetheart. He and Colby have become the best of friends..and I am so happy because he has given Colby a chance to be the Alpha..though I don't think it will last as I think Jack will be bigger than Colby..but, they play and have the best time you can imagine. Jackson has turned out to be the lick your face loving puppy every kid would want (I am the kid!!!) I am so grateful to you for being such a lover of chocolate labs and doing what you do! As soon as my son, Bunker gets through grad school....I am giving him one of your pups for his graduation present as he watches your website regularly..and he actually told me about the new kennel in Florida..and then I got this email from you! Isn't it fun to be such a chocolate lab superstar????

I hope you and you and Myrna have the best of holidays..what troopers you are to make so many people happy...I am one of them..thank you very much!

Regards,

Peggy Kempton

Subject: Puppy #4 - Sydney

Hi David-

Just wanted to check in with you regarding the paperwork/receipt on
puppy #4/Sydney. I've taken her to the vet and need to update them on
the vaccinations that she's received and the date so that we can
schedule te next round. If you could please forward that information
to me, I'd appreciate it.

Syndey is adjusting well! She's such a sweet, loveable girl. So, so
smart and knows her name already as well as a few commands. Thank you
so much for her. We love her tons and she's so fun to be around.
Attached is a picture of her just hanging out in the living room with
us. She's a doll!

Thanks,
Andrea

Hi David,

Sorry not to reply yesterday, but it was my son's birthday so we were quite busy.

The dog is great. He is so friendly, and also quite the learner. He figured out his doggy-door on the 2nd day - and frankly, I think he already is basically housebroken (or at least kitchen-broken).

I still make the effort to lead him out if it has been awhile - especially at night. But we are seeing him during the day go through his door to 'do his thing' then come right back in. No kitchen accidents since his 2nd night - a week ago.

It is amazing to watch how quickly he grows too. Already he can really run the length of the backyard, whereas he could basically just hop a little one week ago.

Also, while I can't imagine anything that would require us to give him away (we just don't do that sort of thing) - rest assured we would never put him in a shelter or bad environment.

I will call or write if I have any serious questions. Thanks again.

David,
He's been really good. He's adapting nicely to our home. He's already
going to the bathroom in the back yard and coming to us when we call
him. He's extremely smart. He loves to chew on everything so we have
to distract him with a lot of toys to save our furniture but he really
is a joy to have. Thank you so much. We'll be posting pictures
hopefully within the next couple of weeks.

# 7 Truffles Buddy August 8th Litter

Sergeant is a ham.... He eats and drinks like there is no tomorrow.
He isn't happy with the fires in our area... Acts like a donkey when we try and take him out for a walk... Wants
nothing to do with the smoke. Loves his big brother Storm Shadow.. He actually attacks Storm, But he is very
patient with the pup.... Just lays there and lets Sergeant climb all over him.
Thanks again for our big guy.

Kimberly
