I DO recommend veterinary (pet) insurance! Veterinary costs are skyrocketing with the advent of advanced diagnostic and treatment options. Face it, you will need veterinary care at some time during the life of your puppy. Having a veterinary insurance plan can relieve some of the financial burdon, and perhaps relieve you of the necessity of putting your puppy to sleep in lieu of treatment you cannot afford. I think that insurance is definitely worthwhile!
